For Sarah's 6th birthday on January 12th, she asked her friends to bring donations for Saving Paws instead of presents for herself.

They enjoyed a kitty/doggy inspired cake and talked about how much they LOVED their pets.

Sarah was given over $80 in cash, kitty litter, kitty toys, doggie toys, kitty food and kitty/doggie treats.

She was tickled as she opened each gift and the kids all laughed and hugged and talked about how they might grow up to be "rescuers" some day too.

It was heart warming and humbling to imagine these sweet kindergartner's embracing the mission of Saving Paws.

We would also like to thank 11-year-old Callie, who donated her birthday money to help the homeless pets at Saving Paws!
